Cavalcade of Lights presented by 103.5 HOT FM Cairns – December 18th 2013

One of my favourite Christmas traditions is touring around the community to see all the spectacular Christmas light displays. Over 500 cars participated in the Cavalcade of Lights last year which is an annual event hosted by 103.5 Hot FM Cairns that leads a convoy of cars around the streets on 2 tours, one north up to Trinity Beach and the other to the southern suburb of Gordonvale. Both tours departing from the Cairns Showgrounds. Everyone’s invited to join the event, so get the kids in the car and get ready to be amazed at this year’s dazzling lights, decorations and enjoy the results from a lot of hard work by some very festive locals. Don’t forget to vote on your favourite house!

When: Wednesday 18^th December 2013

Schedule: Cars are welcome at the Cairns Showgrounds from 4pm and the Cavalcade will commence at 7pm

Southern Tour: To join the Southern route cars will need to enter into the Cairns showgrounds via Severin Street

Northern Tour: To join the Northern route cars will need to enter into the Cairns showgrounds via Scott Street
