About the Boat

Dragon Lady is a purpose built 34ft Cairns Custom Craft Fly Bridge Game Boat she is not brand new but was built for the job and provides ample space for the 8 anglers to move about, relax or to fight the lines from all sides. She obtains speed of 28 knots with her 2 x 330 Cummins Diesel engines to ensure you get to the best fishing spots quickly.

This shared charter fishing boat hosts a maximum of 8 fishermen per day to ensure each one receives individual personalised attention.

Can I take my catch home?

Heavy tackle fishing is tag and release to keep the population of fish thriving for future generations but all others depending on size off course can be taken home. The crew will clean and bag each and every person’s fish so you may take them back to your holiday home or hotel and have it cooked up by the resorts chef or in your own resort rooms kitchen or on the outdoor barbeque.

What styles of fishing does this tour offer?

Dragon Lady offers many fishing options thru the year dependant on the weather and the actual time of year as some fish are seasonal. Some examples are bottom fishing for Red Emperors and Coral Trout, shark fishing on the coral reef edges for some tag and release fun, light tackle fishing and popper fishing or heavy tackle sports fishing.
